The Nielsen Family Holiday Photos
My weekend of photographing adorable families with adorable little girls continued, and this time it was the Nielsens.
Dannah and I spent a lot of time brainstorming ideas for portraits that were a little different, and she came up with the idea to have everyone dress up really fancy and then take photos in a rustic, wooded area in nature. I loved it!
Although I’d seen lots of photos of Dannah and Blake’s daughter Natalie, nothing could prepare me for the explosion of personality she is in person. She’s the cutest!
She got to pick out her own “bling” for the shoot, and couldn’t stop showing it off.
I asked Natalie to show me how many she was turning on her next birthday in February…
It would’ve been so easy to just take pics of Natalie, but Blake and Dannah looked so great I had to get them to show me some fierceness, too.
Dannah was a great sport for hiking all over the place in those stiletto heels, but I mean she’d run a marathon the weekend before so I guess she could handle it

These are bewitching, Leslie. Love the ornament one; such a surprise as you are moving through the photos. Also love the string of hearts along with the red heart necklace Natalie is wearing. The family shot between the rails with Natalie giving a fierce “Betty Boop” look is wonderful, as is the portrait of Natalie with the leaves and the over-the-top black bow! Great photos, this family should be tickled pink.

These turned out really amazing! So many great pictures of Natalie! I love the second to last one of the whole family too. I bet Dannah’s super happy with these!
